Panels, moderation, event hosting
Tara has hosted a variety of talks and events, including a panel on tech and the music industry at the 2021 Web Summit in Lisbon. She moderated a series of conversations at Dialled Industry in 2025, led an evening with Arlo Parks for Guardian Live, hosted the keynote at the 2021 AIM Connected conference, and was in conversation with Big Narstie and CJ Wallace at the 2022 Cannabis Europa conference.
She headed up various gal-dem events such as talks on DIY artistry, Brown British womanhood in cinema and an Instagram Live partnership with Boiler Room. Through gal-dem, she also hosted journalism workshops in Sheffield and London.
Tara has appeared on various panels, including at Beaches Brew festival in Italy, as well as for SoundCloud, DICE.fm, Livity and more.
